Workers remove plywood forms for recycling or disposal after clearing the main construction site of debris and leftover materials. Only a few major items need to be completed for the bridge construction to be finished. Among the needed items is the new parking lot at the Senior Citizens Center.

Workers prepare to apply finishing touches to the poured concrete decorative wall sculpture covering the wall leading into Alum Creek Park. The concrete, a special mixture designed to flow into the complex silicone form, required a week of drying before the form was removed.

Gravel used as a temporary causeway across Alum Creek is removed as one of the final major elements in finishing the Main Street Bridge. Work on the exterior of the bridge at water level is nearly complete and the causeway is no longer needed for heavy equipment.
