An auger filled with dirt is removed from one of the holes drilled for temporary replacement utility poles along the south side of the old bridge structure where the crane handling the hydraulic vibrating driver needs to be positioned for the next set of coffer dams in Alum Creek.
The utilities will eventually be placed underground in pipes installed beneath Alum Creek. Work continues drilling under the creek for the pipe installation.
