Slabs of steel reinforced concrete continue to be removed from the Main Street Bridge as workers clear the site for what will become a new span over Alum Creek.
After the existing bridge spans are removed the drew will begin demolishing the bridge abutments and the center piling that supported the bridge in the center of the creek.
