Drilling lubricant

A worker sprays non-polluting lubricant on the drill bit as it cuts through a 3/4-inch  thick steel beam being set for a temporary platform for working the new bridge deck. All lubricants used on open surfaces, such as this drill bit and the concrete forms, are biodegradable oils that won’t pollute Alum Creek if it runs off the surface.
