Marking Elevation & Position

A surveying crew uses a GPS unit to mark the position and elevation of a section of the Main Street Bridge construction site as dirt is moved into place as it is removed from the freeway section. Work began Thursday driving steel piling into the ground beneath Alum Creek for the first set of supports for the new bridge.
