Original Sandstone Abutments Removed

Sandstone blocks used for abutments in the original Main Street Bridge more than 100 years ago  sit along the freeway leading to the main construction area. The stones were removed from the eastern side of the work area and will be saved for use in the bike path and walkways planned beneath the new bridge.
